So times have changed and although we love sticking to what we know, there are some of us that want to break tradition and do something unique. Especially when planning our BIG DAY. And why not. I've never seen any rules stating what can and can't be done at weddings. Some stuff are basic and yes, law states a couple of formalities and legal stuff that would consider a marriage legal. But when it comes to the fun stuff, like your dress, decor, venue, flowers etc. a bride can pretty much do what she wants. Lately flowers got some competition when it comes to the bride's bouquet. We've seen the beads trending a couple of years ago already, but lately BUTTONS have come on to the scene. Buttons and beads don't go out of season, you'll 99% of the time find them in your wedding's colours, depending on the buttons or beads you buy and they could be much cheaper than flowers. :)

One of my friends asked me about some clever ideas for bouquets instead of the traditional huge flower bouquets. Here are some ideas scouted from the net.

Feathers:

These feather bouquets are very chic, it's funky, yet feminine. I would say mix white feathers with feathers matching your wedding colours.

I also LOVE these peacock feathers, the hints of turquoise and purple are stunning together.

And then my personal favorite is this bouquet of roses mixed with feathers in an accent colour. A mix of classic and trendy = Perfect :)
